Remembering Coach Chris Andrea

It is with great sadness to share the news of former GYL coach Chris Andrea’s passing.  Chris was first a player for Greenwich Youth Lacrosse and played for Greenwich High School and Trinity-Pawling School.  He played his collegiate lacrosse at Robert Morris University and began coaching in South Florida.  Coach Andrea coached GYL’s 7B team for 5 seasons before moving to Greenwich High School where he was an assistant coach for 2 seasons.  We will miss Chris’ passion for the game and send love and support to his friends and family.  Rest easy Coach.

The wake will take place on Friday June 4th at Hoyt Funeral Home in New Canaan from 4:00 to 7:00. The Memorial Service will take place at Noon on Saturday June 5th at the First Presbyterian Church in New Canaan. Click here to read Chris’ obituary.
